Wrath of nature batters Colita homes

More severe damage was caused after yesterday’s thunderstorms

Yesterday’s thunderstorms have caused more extensive damage in Colita.

Still picking up the pieces from the damage caused by a storm less than two weeks ago, some residents were again victims of storm damage.

Roofs were swept away.

Roofs, windows, gates and walls were all damaged during the hail, wind, and heavy rain during the afternoon on March 21.

Local relief agencies accompanied by Ward 10 Councillor Edith Lite responded immediately and are following up this morning to assist residents with essentials like blankets, mattresses and food.
