Police issue stern warning to residents

Firearm licence holders are warned against discharging their firearms in public places.

“This is a serious criminal offence which can lead to being charged under Section 120 of the Firearms Control Act 60 of 200,” says Captain V Mbense, Communications Officer at Dundee SAPS.

Numerous cases of people discharging their firearms in public have made news in recent weeks.
