Police confirm gender of foetus found in CBD

Police have confirmed the gender of a foetus that was found on Murchison Street yesterday (April 3).
“The baby was identified as a boy wrapped only in a white cloth with blood stains on it,” says SAPS Spokesperson Captain Jabulani Ncube.
The foetus was discovered by a vagrant in the area at around 7am. The baby’s umbilical cord was still attached.
A case of concealment of birth has been opened.
