Water-shedding to hit Ladysmith tomorrow

Technicians are busy with repairs on a pump at Spioenkop Dam

uThukela District Municipality would like to inform the community that water levels are currently dropping in Ladysmith due to a broken raw water pump at Spioenkop.

Their technicians are currently busy with repairs on the pump.

As a result, water-shedding will start tomorrow (April 16).

The following areas will be affected by water cuts: Observation Hill, Mkhamba Gardens, Egerton, Model Kloof, Illing Road, Ladysmith CBD, Reservoir Hill, Hospital Park, Roosboom, Steadville, Limit Hill, St Chad’s and the industrial area.
