Reminder: Some areas will be without water today due to repairs at Spioenkop Dam
If you still have water in the affected areas, store it to be safe
Residents are reminded that areas will be water-shed today (April 16) due to repairs being done to a broken raw water pump at Spioenkop Dam.
Speaking to uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza, he says that technicians are currently busy with repairs on the pump.
The following areas will be affected by water cuts: Observation Hill, Mkhamba Gardens, Egerton, Model Kloof, Illing Road, Ladysmith CBD, Reservoir Hill, Hospital Park, Roosboom, Steadville, Limit Hill, St Chad’s and the industrial area.
