UPDATE: Missing Estcourt teacher found dead in a manhole

Nomathamsanqu Sinobuhle Ndaba (28) was reported missing by a family member on Friday. A concerned family member, who was unable to reach her telephonically, contacted the police.

The tracker of Ms Ndaba’s White Polo – registration number NE 27629 showed that the vehicle was at house number 4 at Sixth Avenue in Colenso on Friday at 6.50pm.

“The vehicle drove off at 12.06am from Colenso along the R74. The ignition was on and off along the way to Greytown where it was found abandoned. The woman was nowhere to be found and her cell phone was off,” explained police spokesperson Bongani Nyathi.

Ms Ndaba is a teacher at KwaDlamini High School in Wembezi. It is alleged that the last person who saw her on April 26 was a co-worker at the school.
