Search still on for missing mother and sons

Toyi Munonge and her two sons travelled to Durban on April 20, to visit a family friend in the Musgrave area.

An emotional Gift Munonge is desperate for news on his missing sister and nephews.

He says 28-year-old Toyi Munonge and her two sons, John (13) and Samuel (10) travelled to Durban on April 20, to visit a family friend in the Musgrave area.

This was around the time of the devastating floods in the area.

Gift confirms the family friend his sister and nephews were to visit, is one of the people who lost their lives in the torrential floods.

“I have been looking for my sister and her children tirelessly, and cannot find them. It was their first visit to Durban and they never returned,” says a tearful Gift.

Anyone with information as to their whereabouts, is urged to contact Gift on 078 677 7507.
