‘Every second is precious’ says Chris Marais

Chris is a prominent personality in the emergency services field in Vryheid, working as a tow truck operator, and also dedicates a substantial amount of his time to community safety. He serves as spokesperson for Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch and is an active patrol member.
Far more than that however, Chris is a loving father to Mia and although he is well known for his big heart, his little girl occupies the largest part of it.
“It’s not difficult to appreciate the time I get to spend with my little girl,” explains Chris. “Every time we get into our vehicles and rush off for a call out or an emergency, we can’t be sure if we’re coming home or not. Every second that I spend with her is precious.”
