Schoolgoing mothers supported by Winter Drive
The Winter Drive encouraged residents to donate clothing and toiletries for both mothers and babies.
There’s hope for young mothers at Dundee Secondary School, thanks to support from the Winter Drive initiative.
21 mothers at the school benefited from the drive, which encouraged residents to donate clothing and toiletries for both mothers and babies.

Trisha Rajkumar, who coordinated the event, thanked everyone who donated towards the cause. She also praised the girls for still wanting to better themselves and get an education.
“This is just a symbol from the community that we believe in you, and we want you all to succeed in life.”
Teenage pregnancy is an increasing problem in local schools, and many girls go through troubling times with no one to turn too. Initiatives like these are envisioned to show support and give them hope through these times in their lives.
