Ahead of Father’s Day, the committee members of Suryaville Informal Trade Centre treated fathers to a delicious home-cooked meal on June 15.

The women were hard at work to ensure the father’s received the best cuisine.

Ward Three Councillor, Matthew Shunmugam addressed the gathering and expressed his thanks to the fathers for fulfilling their duties.

“The role of a father as the head of the household is to provide for his family. We have many hardworking fathers in our community and today is your day. Enjoy it!,” he said.

The committee thanked the sponsors and those who contributed to the success of the day.
