Blood donors make every single drop count
Women haemorrhaging due to pregnancy emergencies, and other gyneacological complications, premature babies, children with severe anaemia, accident trauma patients, surgical and cancer patients.

June is World Blood Donor Month and the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) Newcastle branch celebrated this day on June 14.
Regular and first time blood donors committed to donating blood at the SANBS Centre, at the Newcastle Mall.
Ahead of Father’s Day and Youth Day, residents were seen giving the gift of life and enjoyed a fun-filled day with the cheerful SANBS staff cheerfully available to assist them.
Special donors all received a token of appreciation, after donating blood on the day.
