Eshowe laptop theft suspect caught with hands in the jar

Eshowe SAPS caught a criminal red-handed last Thursday.

According to police reports, officials received an alert about a burglary in progress at an Emlalazi school in Eshowe and upon arriving at the scene, gave pursuit to a 24- year-old suspect.

The suspect was found in possession of three laptops listed stolen from school.

A vehicle  which was reportedly used in the commission of the crime was also seized by the police and the suspect was placed into police custody.

The suspect will appear in the Eshowe Magistrate’s Court on charges of burglary and the possession of suspected stolen property.
