Travelling to Wembezi, Colita and Rensburgdrift, the teams met with the elderly and those living with HIV to distribute food hampers.

150 large food hampers were handed out. In addition, each person received a hygiene hamper and a warm blanket.

“We also provided Ithembalethu Outreach Project with 20 litres of hand sanitizer to use while they are on the ground. All the recipients were extremely grateful and said this couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Jaaved Khan from the Gift of the Givers Estcourt.

Jaaved Khan hands over hand sanitizer to Sister Beata Msomi to help volunteers on the ground.
