Each week they receive challenges that are set by the Malta Girl Guide Movement, which are designed to reinforce the teachings of the Girl Guides and Scouts, as well as develop them personally and educationally.

Last week was no different and the members were asked to show off their creativity by writing out the words ‘Girl Guides’ or ‘Scouts’.

The children could do this using any form of writing.

It was a task that was taken on with zeal, as Guider Deborah Gamede explained: “It was so interesting listening to their suggestions on what and how each of them would do his or her writing.”

In addition, the members also recited the Girl Guide and Scout law and promise.

“Thanks to the Malta Girl Guide Movement for providing the challenges and keeping our children occupied during the lockdown,” added Mrs Gamede.
