DUNDEE: Spring finally arrives as mercury tops 30 degrees

Spring has arrived, albeit five days late

After a wintry start to Spring, when the temperature dropped to single figures and it looked more likely to snow rather than be sunny, today, Saturday, dawned bright and warm after a misty start. The weatherman predicts a maximum of temperature of 30 degrees.

The new month and season – after a long, icy winter compounded by lockdown regulations due to the Covid-19 pandemic – was marked at Charlies SuperSpar with shop brightly decorated with greenery and staff sporting hats, flowery shirts and sunglasses as they got into the Spring groove.
