NEWCASTLE KZN: Rafferty case – date set for accused duo’s bail application
The accused duo will make their formal bail applications in court next Tuesday.
A date of December 1 has been set for the bail applications of both Siyabonga Macu and Doctor Ngwenya.
The pair, accused of the murders of Glen and Vida Rafferty in August, appeared in the Newcastle Magistrate’s B Court today (November 25), for finalisation of the date of their bail bids.
The matter has been remanded to next Tuesday (December 1), with both suspects again remanded into police custody until then.
The Newcastle Advertiser will continue following the case and will provide updates on the case’s progress.
