A double murder in Colenso over the weekend and two separate shootings in Weenen and one in eZakheni are believed to be linked to ongoing taxi violence in the Weenen and Bergville areas.

A man was shot multiple times in Nhlawe area of Weenen and another man killed in Ezakeni with multiple gunshot wounds on Saturday.

A woman and a man were found at a residence in Colenso with multiple gunshot wounds on Saturday. All appear to be hits although they are still trying to establish a link to the taxi war at the Colenso murder scene.
