NEWCASTLE KZN: Suburban power cuts caused by substation maintenance
The municipality has apologised for the inconvenience caused for residents.
Due to emergency maintenance at the 132kv substation in Sunnyridge, power supply has been disrupted in the following suburbs:
- Hutten Heights
- Schuinshoogte
- Sunnyridge
- Aviary Hill
- Amajuba Park
- Ncandu Park
- Barry Hertzog Park
- Pioneer Park
Head of Communications for the Newcastle Municipality, Mlungisi Khumalo apologised on behalf of the municipality for any inconveniences caused by the power outages.
