DUNDEE KZN: Thieves target gate motors
Witnesses said the gate gang appeared to be using a bicycle in a bid to operate as stealthily as possible
There has been a spate of remote gate motor thefts throughout Dundee. Three cases were opened with the SAPS over the weekend, while at least another three were stolen during the week – in Victoria Street bring the total to well over 10. .
The thieves operate in the early hours of the morning. If you see any suspicious-looking people roaming around, you are urged to report this to Dundee police station.
Buying stolen property
Police have issued a stern warning to people who buy stolen property that they will be arrested and charged, and could face prosecution for being in possession of such property.
