ESTCOURT KZN: Drakensberg Boys Choir to represent SA at Expo 2020 in Dubai
The boys left South Africa on October 14 to be part of this exciting expo that will feature the top brass representing South Africa
Eight Drakensberg Boys Choir School (Drakies) boys have been selected to represent the choir and South Africa at Expo 2020.
This is the largest business and tourism expo and is held in Dubai.
The boys left South Africa on October 14 to be part of this exciting expo that will feature the top brass representing South Africa.
A further 40 boys will travel to Namibia at the end of October to perform to audiences there.
Namibia has always been a staunch supporter of the Drakies and the school has had boys attend from this supportive neighbour.
“Touring internationally is always our goal, and fortunately we have been able to re-enter the international scene after Covid restrictions were lifted. We are excited that tours are taking place once again,” said the school.
