ESTCOURT KZN: Pistol and ammunition seized in Loskop
Officers recovered a 9mm Glock pistol with 10 rounds of ammunition
An Intelligence-driven operation conducted in the Makekeni area of Amangwe (Loskop) on October 28 brought success for the police.
During the early hours of the morning, Durban Public Order Police descended on a home in the area.
On seeing the police, the occupant fled from the home.
“Upon searching the premises, officers recovered a 9mm Glock pistol with 10 rounds of ammunition. The serial number of the firearm had been filed off. The firearm was confiscated,” commented police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.
