Dundee High learners go back to where it all began at Dundee Pre-Primary

According to Dundee Pre-Primary staff member, Maggie Stone, DHS used to make these visits every year, but had to stop because of Covid-19.

The prefects of Dundee High School (DHS) spent March 22 with the young children at Dundee Pre-Primary School. Annually, the DHS prefects visit this school to spend about three hours playing outside with the preschoolers.
According to Dundee Pre-Primary staff member, Maggie Stone, DHS used to make these visits every year, but had to stop because of Covid-19.
“I am glad they came, as the kids enjoy spending time with them,” said Maggie.
“DHS hasn’t visited our school since the pandemic; this is the first time since then.”
DHS prefect Amenathi Mgoza said he had fun during the excursion. “I had a great time, but I have to admit that the kids have a lot of energy. I could barely keep up,” he quipped.
Inneke Labuschagne added that, “I was anticipating this day, because I enjoy spending time with the young ones. What better way to spend time with kids than by designing our own cookies.”
As the day came to a close, there was laughter and games in the classroom.
