Dannhauser Secondary School celebrates Human Rights Day with local health centre

Grade 5 learner Hlelolwenkosi Mkhize recited a poem entitled 'Why are you chuckling at me?'

Dannhauser Secondary School pupils honoured Human Rights Day with the assistance of the Dannhauser Community Health (DCH) centre.
During this special event, DCH member Zama Khumalo told the learners about their human rights and also spoke to them about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene.
The children were divided into three groups, and each had to deliver a presentation about their assigned topics at the conclusion of the group discussion.
Grade 5 learner Hlelolwenkosi Mkhize recited a poem entitled ‘Why are you chuckling at me?’
Students from the Youth Citizen Action Programme thanked the principal and Miss Thusi for enabling them to hold this event at their school.
