Comforting donation of mattresses for Dundee old age home

AVBOB donates hospital mattresses to Eventide Old Age Home

In a heartfelt act of community support, AVBOB Funeral Services Dundee has donated four brand-new hospital bed mattresses to SAVF Eventide Old Age Home.
Louis Fourie from AVBOB personally handed over the mattresses to Karen Glasgow and Sister Lizbe Steyn, who accepted the donation on behalf of the home on Wednesday last week.

The arrival of the new mattresses is expected to make a meaningful difference in the comfort and well-being of the residents.
“This donation will go a long way towards improving our residents’ quality of life, especially those who are bedridden,” said Steyn.
“We are extremely grateful to AVBOB for recognising our needs and stepping in to help.”

Fourie said that AVBOB is proud to support local institutions that serve vulnerable members of the community.
“Giving back is part of our mission. We hope these mattresses will provide some comfort to the residents and support the excellent work being done by the SAVF staff,” he said.
