Local school grateful for donations by Gauteng-based NPO

This spiritually-aligned organisation was formed by members of St John's Mission

The parents of children attending Qinisa Primary were short of words when expressing their gratitude after non-profit organisation ‘Bana Ba Baporofeta (BBB)’ donated full school uniforms to the school. The Gauteng-based NPO visited the school recently, where they handed over the uniforms to 23 needy learners.

Chairperson Mr Mokwana said it was easy for them to identify the school, since they were approached by Ward 4 Cllr Londathina Hlomuka, who attends the same church. He said this is the first time they have done something outside the church and also outside Gauteng.

Mokwana said that after the visit, they realised there is so much need for help at this school.

“We know very well that most of the kids in this area are from poor backgrounds and we want to make sure that we bring hope. We have taken a decision to adopt the school and we want to see it growing and flourishing.”

Circuit manager Ms TD Zondi, principal Mr SS Mchunu and Cllr Hlomuka all shared the same sentiments and conveyed their gratitude to BBB.
