A bus, believed to be a City to City liner, caught on fire in the early hours of this morning (May 24) on the N3 southbound near the Loskop Turn Bridge, Estcourt.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown at this stage, but engine failure is suspected.
Emergency services responded to the scene, as well as uThukela firefighters.
It is also unclear how many people were on the bus at the time of the incident.

The left lane was obstructed and traffic moved slowly past while the scene was being cleared.
Police carried out traffic control at the scene.
According to N3 Toll Concession (N3TC), clean-up and recovery operations continued this morning.
