Organisers have assured participants that the event will be safe and well organised. Support will be provided by the Traffic Department and the South African Police Service, with an ambulance on site to ensure the safety and well-being of all runners and spectators.

Community members and local businesses are also invited to set up stalls at the mission grounds at a cost of R100 per stall.
