Local pupil takes part in national athletics championships
Wandile aims to do even better next year.
Sesikhona Primary School pupil Wandile Mbatha took part in the Schools National Championships last Wednesday (March 19).
The athletics championships were held in Germiston, Gauteng.

The 11-year-old qualified for the national champs by coming second in the 1200m event at the provincial championships in Durban.
Although she didn’t place at the nationals, the mere fact that she got to participate was a great accomplishment in itself. Sesikhona Primary is proud to have produced one of the best athletes in Ladysmith.
