Local lad Juhanré Olivier was recruited and took part in the Rising Stars Six-a-Side Cricket Tournament in Hillcrest from December 13–15 as part of the ‘Lads’ team.

Many new friends were made, as well as meeting up with some old XPL rivals, this time as teammates.

Even though rain caused some matches to be cut short and played as super overs, this young man still managed to be ‘Player of the Match’ in two of the games played.

An amazing experience to be part of, and a good way to prepare for the cricket season still ahead.
