Memorable Valentine’s Day celebration at Monument Primary

Stunning red and white outfits were the order of the day.

It was a truly exciting morning (February 13) at Monument Primary School, as the entire school celebrated Valentine’s Day in style. Although admittedly a day early, the atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter and a beautiful display of red and white.

Stunning red and white outfits

For the day’s celebration, learners arrived dressed in stunning red and white outfits instead of their usual school uniforms. Teachers also joined in the spirit of the occasion, adding to the vibrant and festive atmosphere across the school.

Valentine’s market and stalls

To make the day even more special, the school organised a Valentine’s market in the school hall. The learners eagerly explored the stalls, buying roses, bagels, cupcakes and other charming gifts. The hall was filled with excitement as the children enjoyed choosing thoughtful treats for their friends and loved ones.

The celebration was not only about fun and festivities, but also about promoting love, kindness and devotion within the school community. A heart-warming day that brought everyone together and created beautiful memories for both learners and teachers.
