Five Cent Piece
Your rage and bravado could land you in hospital. Keep on ‘checking’, Rambo.

The car was travelling at a hectic pace along the thin strip of road. The other car in front of him came closer very quickly. He slowed down slightly… flashed his lights. Impatient, he shifted one gear down and floored it. The engine whined in protest, as he flew past the slower moving car.
Road rage. Most of us are guilty of it in some way or the other. Giving someone the finger, shouting obscenities. It’s a messy business, which could easily land you with a sizable medical bill.
For the speedster, his weekend drive could easily have turned fatal thanks to his idiotic driving. A couple, while travelling that day, were victims of this person’s insatiable thirst for confrontation.
After passing the slower driver, the man slammed on brakes in the middle of the road. The slower driver was forced to execute an emergency-braking maneuver to avoid a collision. Lightning McQueen continued driving, but pulled over again a short while later to confront the occupants of the car.
The question is, how could one person’s emotions have so much control over them? Perhaps Darwin’s evolutionary theory is applicable, but in reverse. You sir, are the worst sort of driver, the one who endangers not only himself, but the occupants of every vehicle that passes you on the road.
You are also a bully, taking on a husband and wife, rounding on the female when your insults did nothing to provoke a reaction from the man. Maybe your friends and family could bear testimony to your violent tendencies. To quote the great Post Halt No. II: “If the cap fits, sue me.”
Next time you decide to pull a car over, just remember – they might not be law-abiding citizens. Your rage and bravado could land you in hospital. Keep on ‘checking’, Rambo.
