Where does time go? Days blur into weeks, then months. If you don’t believe it, take a look at your calendar.
Five Cent Piece recently sat and contemplated the mysteries of time. A watch does not physically tick faster, conspiracy theories not withstanding. Digital clocks do malfunction from time to time, but a calendar never lies.
The realisation dawned like an atomic mushroom cloud. Time, the very essence of our lives, runs to the same place lost socks and car keys go. The place where it must be a constant party, with all that spare time floating around.
With this shocking revelation fuelling the day’s activities, Five Cent Piece contemplated time no longer. One must simply accept, if time does not want to give you a chance, it will simply run off without as much as a wave.
We must all then become cowboys, throwing a lasso around the horns of the time bull. Reel it in, and try make more time to enjoy life.
It’s almost Christmas again. You might laugh at such a statement in June, but just you wait. Soon you will be singing carols and wrapping presents.
As time flies, Five Cent Piece pieces together the puzzle of life, one day at a time. Or was that last week?
