Look through the eyes of a trolley

I also do not want to be in the way of the next car that is bound to arrive. Is it really too much to ask to park me nicely and out of the way?

Madam – The trolley.

I am a trolley at the supermarket. Just an ordinary trolley. But I am proud and happy to help people carry their shopping. It sure beats having to carry all those items.

Mind you, I am actually not so ordinary. After all, I am chrome plated or galvanised and have fancy castor wheels, all of which make me quite expensive to buy and to maintain. That’s why I get very sad and unhappy when people handle me roughly.

Once off-loaded, they push me away with force so I may run unguided for some distance and hurt myself crashing into curb stones, brushwork or other cars. It is especially the other cars I am worried about because I really do not intend to scratch their lovely paintwork.

I also do not want to be in the way of the next car that is bound to arrive. Is it really too much to ask to park me nicely and out of the way?

Faithfully, and waiting to help YOU.
