A drought – but we still wash cars…

How come if we go around town we see so many clean vehicles driving around?

Sir
I have a question for the people who read this newspaper and live in the areas of Dundee and Glencoe.
The question is, how come if we go around town we see so many clean vehicles driving around?
KZN has been declared a disaster area because of the severity of the drought and yet people would rather sacrifice pure drinking water than drive a car with a bit of dirt on it. I find the issue of wastage quite shocking especially when you consider just how much people complain when they don’t have water.
We are in a major crisis.
There needs to be more emphasis placed on this and people need to take this more seriously before we end up in a situation much worse.
Mo Jo
