June 13 was a tragic day for the Sohan family from Glencoe. Mr and Mrs Ray’s grand-daughter, Requelle, was involved in a tragic accident and was rushed to hospital.
Upon arrival at the casualty we found Doctor Khumalo and his staff who attended to us immediately.
From 11 am until 6 pm they worked tirelessly stabilising her. Later on our little girl was transferred to Newcastle hospital for a CT scan, thereafter to Durban Hospital where she went into theatre for about seven hours.
For three hours she was on life support, thereafter she was put in ICU.
Doctors had no hope that she would make it, but with all the prayers from the Pottershouse Church in Dundee, Glencoe Pre-Primary, family and friends she made it.
If it wasn’t for Doctor Khumalo and his staff quickly attending to her and stabilising her, our little girl would not have made it.
A very big thank you to him and his staff for their role in saving our baby girl’s life.
Above all, thank you to our living God that performs miracles.
