In life we are faced with so many encounters due to the fact that one’s choices determine the consequences.
Let us take for instance the choice of not going to school – even though there is someone who is prepared to help you with school fees. You decide to bunk school for your own reasons.
What life have you decided to live? See what is happening to the crime rate? It is rising everyday. Check up on those committing crime – it is the same people who were given an opportunity to go to school but they didn’t grab the opportunity at the time.
Why? Because of the choices they made at that time. Therefore, the choice might mess up your life or mess up somebody else’s life, which is not fair on those on the receiving end of crime.
Which is why I will humbly ask: do you think properly before making a choice in your life? With any choice there is a consequence: it might be positive or negative.
The only thing one should try to do is to make a choice that will not impact negatively because there is power in a choice.
As we are about to enjoy the festive season and there is so much that will be happening due to the choices people make. May I remind everyone that the festive season comes and goes but the consequences of not making the right choices during the festive season will forever haunt you.
Choice is personal – it comes from within, but it affects everything: plants, people, policy, growth, freedom, rights, money, character… the list is endless. Make sure that whatever choice you make, you are mindful of the results.
If you decide to go to school go, if you want to look for a job… wake up and apply. If you want to upgrade your life, do it. If you want to change your life for the better, do it.
If you want be out of ‘prison’ by forgiving someone, do it. If you want to propose marriage, do it, if you want to stop things that affect your life negatively, stop it.
If you want to place yourself as a priority in everything, do it. If you want to live a healthy life, start now.
