Madam- Regarding the article of shopping centre parking lots.

Shopping complexes are places we visit daily, but I’ve developed a fear of them as I do not feel safe anymore. All is well that police are making more visible patrols around the area, but what about the hours they are not there?

I don’t feel there is enough security on the perimeters who look out for the safety of customers or their belongings.

We left shopping centres in the CBD district for safety reasons, but the danger seems to be spreading. Maybe the shopping complexes around Newcastle should consider re-evaluating safety measures to help minimise the amount of theft and car break-ins that occur.
