Weekly draw finally won

Come and watch all the sporting action on the big screen at the club

It is that time of the year again and Siegetown Shellhole is once again hosting their annual Tiny’s Trips Memorial Bowls Tournament over the weekend of April 29 and 30.

CLUB NEWS:

The club will be hosting a pool competition on Saturday, May 13, starting at 11am. The entry fee is R75 per player and includes a meal and a quart of beer. Please RSVP to Mike Williams by Wednesday, May 3 – see you there!

The club will also be having a potjiekos competition on May 20. The entry fee will be R20 per pot. To book a spot, RSVP to Craig Booth / Brad Ptout by May 17 – prizes galore to be won.

Every Friday evening is ‘bring a friend Friday’ – Friday nights are open evenings and we urge our club members to bring along friends and family.

The weekly draw was finally won – well done! Remember, you have to be here to win the draw, so we urge all our members to support the club on Friday nights.

Braai facilities are available, so bring a friend or two and make use of these facilities.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

Moth Executive Meeting: April 25 at 6pm.

Tiny’s Trips Bowls Tournament: April 29 and 30.

Club Executive Meeting: May 2 at 7pm.

Moth Monthly Meeting: May 4 at 7pm.

Club Pool Competition: May 13 at 11am.

Please note that Siegetown’s telephone number has been changed to 060-657-7318. The Moth caretaker is available should you wish to hire the Moth Hall, visit the Museum or would like to have the Siegetown Ladies’ Association cater for a function. Please contact the caretaker, Jenny, on 060-657-7318 between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8am to 12pm on Saturday to arrange the above.
