Setting a realistic timeline to get problem skin under control

Treatments must be supplemented with a home maintenance program as prescribed by the skin therapist

Treatments are progressive meaning that results get better and better the more treatments you have. This is because of the design of the treatment, which serves to re-educate the skin to perform at its peak.

The more treatments, the more the skin will respond in a positive way to yield excellent results. Treatments must be supplemented with a home maintenance program as prescribed by the skin therapist.

This step is very necessary in order to keep the skin stimulated and for the effects of the in-clinic treatment to continue working.

In effect, what we are doing is training the skin to function normally again. We are merely keeping up the training process through the home maintenance program, which continues to regulate the functions in the skin and keeps the skin cells stimulated.

The home maintenance program plays a vital and very definite role in contributing towards the overall effectiveness of the treatment plan and the final outcome experienced by the client. It is important that both client and therapist fully understand this.
