Thoughts and prayers are with John and Colin

If you know of any members who are not well, please inform me or any fellow Moths or club members

Our thoughts and prayers are with John Thorley, who is in hospital after being involved in an accident. We wish you a speedy recovery.

We have also been advised that Moth Colin Wheeler is in hospital. We hope you get better soon.

If you know of any members who are not well, please inform me or any fellow Moths or club members.

Please note that Siegetown’s telephone number has been changed – please use the following number: 060-657-7318.

The Moth caretaker is available should you wish to hire the Moth Hall, visit the museum or would like to have the Siegetown Ladies’ Association cater for a function.

Please contact the caretaker, Jenny, on 060-657-7318 between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8am to 12pm on Saturday to arrange the above.

MOTH NEWS:

Siegetown Shellhole hosted the Northern Natal District AGM on July 2 at 10am – well done to the new District committee. This was followed by Siegetown’s AGM.

The committee for 2017/2018 is: Old Bill – Moth Ralph Duncan; Wee Bill – Moth Bob Corringham; Pay Bill – Moth Ian Hazel; and Adjutant – Moth Fiona Cloete.

We will be having our annual Delville Wood Parade on July 13 at 6pm. All Moths, Mothwas and friends are welcome to attend and enjoy the evening with us.

It is that time of year again! Please start rummaging through your cupboards and start spring cleaning early!

The Juana Maria Fête will be here before we know it and we need all your unwanted items so that we can sell them at the White Elephant Stall.

If you would like us to collect your items, please phone Jenny on 060-657-7318 and we will arrange for someone to collect. Alternatively, you can drop them off at the Moth Club.

CLUB NEWS:

Every Friday evening is ‘bring a friend Friday’ – Friday nights are open evenings and we urge our club members to bring along friends and family to join us for some pool or darts or even just for a wee dram or three.

The weekly draw was won by Bob – well done!

Come along on Friday nights to stand a chance to win! Remember, you have to be here to win the draw, so we urge all our members to support the club on Friday nights for your chance to win.

Come and watch all the sporting action on our new big screen at the club.

Braai facilities are available, so bring a friend or two and make use of these facilities.
