Are you single and looking for a partner? Tired of being alone?
Well being single can be a sad and lonely experience but it definitely also has its perks.
For one, you save a lot of money, can sleep in late on weekends and don’t have to worry about being accused of cheating just because you have more than one female/ male friend.
Being single also means that you can do as you please, don’t have to worry about what people think and can spend the whole day in your pj’s without having to worry about anyone seeing you.
But being single also has its disadvantages.
For one, you never have a partner when you’re required to attend functions and are forced to take your sibling, good friend or office co-worker.
You also have to endure watching other couples kiss and hold hands whenever you’re out in public.
Why is it that so many people seem to be smooching at the same time in the same place? It’s almost as if loving couples can sense a single person and make it their mission in life to make them jealous.
It makes going out to get a bite incredibly frustrating.
However, the hardest part about being single, is having to endure your family’s constant queries. Some family members are subtle about it, while others get straight to the point.
Telling you that they wish you get some tips while attending a baby shower isn’t very subtle at all. It’s not always family that can pester you though.
Sometimes friends take it upon themselves to try and set you up with every other single person they know. It doesn’t matter to them whether you’re not compatible with the person they’re trying to set you up with, just as long as you’re both single.
Yes, single life can be tough, but then again it can be fun. At the end of the day it’s what you make of it.
So enjoy every minute of single life and be happy…because your family and friends won’t quit till they find you someone.
As the saying goes, ‘all good things come to an end.’
