Screenings for diabetes and blood pressure tests where done by Sister Debbie Akaloo from Medical Hall. Referrals were made to the Estcourt Hospital.

Health education and the safe use of medication were addressed with the Colita Senior Citizens Club last week.
Mrs RD Peerbhay mentioned that readings are recorded and will be monitored for each member.

A member mentioned that ‘a smile daily and laughter is number one to good health.’ Mrs Peerbhay included prayer and God, as well as reminded them not to adjust their medications without consulting a doctor.
