Hats off to local municipality for finally resurfacing nightmarish piece of road

Motorists literally were driving like they were in dodgem cars

Editor – Allow me space in your newspaper to thank Alfred Duma Local Municipality for re-surfacing a portion of Agra Road.

Praise needs to be given where it is due and in this particular case, the municipality truly deserves it.

This portion of the road that was resurfaced was a nightmare to drive along.

Motorists were literally driving like they were in dodgem cars, driving on the wrong side of the road, and let’s not forget the damage to the vehicles.

Now it is a pleasure to drive along this portion of road.

The road is smooth – no rattling from the vehicle – and best of all, motorists do not have to duck and dive from each other. One can only wish that the rest of the town’s roads can be resurfaced and maintained frequently so that we, as ratepayers, can see where our money is being used.

Well done! Come on, municipal officials, put the town first and retain the once ‘cleanest town in KZN’!

To the ‘powers that be’, let’s stand together and make our town beautiful again.
