Thanks for rallying around a good cause

When a cry for help goes out to the community of Ladysmith and the Ladysmith Gazette, people react so swiftly to assist

Editor – Once again, I have witnessed how great the community of Ladysmith is.

When a cry for help goes out to the community of Ladysmith and the Ladysmith Gazette, without hesitation people react so swiftly to assist.

When the urgent need arose to raise much-needed funds to keep the Koekie Jacobsz Senior Centre running and cooking affordable meals for senior citizens, Doug and Molly Hamilton and the faithful committee arranged a second-hand sale within three weeks.

It was unbelievable how the community opened their hearts and donated abundantly.

A special word of thanks to the Ladysmith Gazette from the Koekie Jacobsz Senior Centre for phoning and offering to assist in doing an article about the sale.

The committee would like to thank everyone who contributed towards this project and especially to the shoppers who made this project a huge success.
