Estcourt team aims for victory in top-of-the-table clash
If they win, they will extend their lead at the top of the log
Estcourt and Ladysmith soccer lovers are in for a treat when Gqom Gang FC and Ladysmith Juventus FC do battle in the Vodacom League this coming Sunday (February 23).
Juventus will enjoy home ground advantage, as the match will be played at the Kandahar Stadium at 15:00.
What makes this match interesting is that these two clubs are fighting for top spot in the league. Gqom Gang currently leads the log with 42 points after 16 matches, with Juventus in second position with 40 points after the same number of matches.
Gqom Gang will want to extend the points gap, while a win for Juventus will catapult them into top spot.

Gqom Gang marketing director Mehluko Mdakane said they encourage their supporters from Estcourt to come in numbers to support the team in Ladysmith. “To stay on top, we will need player number 12, which is the supporters,” said Mdakane.
He added that transport is available at only R100 for those who want to go and support the team in Ladysmith. The meeting point is the Sasol garage and the departure time is 11:00.
