Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge – at last it is here

There is plenty of entertainment for the kids so don't miss out. No liquor or weapons allowed. Strict security and right of admission reserved.

At last it is here: one of Endumeni’s biggest sports challenges: the event will take place from May 5-8 at the Kallies Stadium.
Besides the football, modelling, cricket, boxing and fun world, the event will also see a live performance by teen ‘hip-hop’ star, 14-year-old Ntobeko Nkaibinde, who is commonly known as Ntobza Steve.
Thursday, May 5, will be school day. Arm bands will be sold at the grounds and this will earn the wearer unlimited rides for R80 at the funland and funworld (including a meal voucher). Funland arm bands: R50 and funworld R30.
These are valid for one day only.
Nine schools will participate in soccer, netball and cricket from May 5-7 while eight business teams will play on Sunday for the late Farouk Adam Abdullah floating trophy. The trophy has been named after Farouk to honour his legacy in local sport.
The trophy is sponsored by his sons, Sheraz and Shaeed Adam Abdullah.
The boxing, which will feature 15 Gauteng boxers doing battle against 15 local boxers, should also prove to be a winner.
No pass-out tickets will be issued. To avoid long queues, you can buy your tickets in advance
(adults R20 and children R15). Gates open at 2pm on Thursday and Friday and at 9am on Saturday and Sunday.
There is plenty of entertainment for the kids so don’t miss out. No liquor or weapons allowed. Strict security and right of admission reserved.
