Our Justin prepares for BMX World Championships

Last year, the Dekkers competed in the World Championships in Colombia.

Justin Dekker, Dundee’s own international BMX racer, is hard at work preparing for the World Championships, which will be held in Rockhill, USA, in July.
This championship is being billed as the biggest event of its kind as the USA is the home of BMX.

Justin has suffered setbacks this year with two bad falls on the track with bruised ribs The second fall damaging the ribs as that were hurt in his first fall.
Last weekend, father and son, Grant and Justin, competed in Pietermaritzburg with Justin achieving a third place and Grant a fourth position in the combined 17+ elite and cruiser class.
“We thank our sponsors (Epilepsy South Africa and Orange Grove Dairy) as well as everyone else that has supported and helped us for everything that they have done for us,” said Grant. Last year, the Dekkers competed in the World Championships in Colombia.
