Take on the Drakensberg Polar Bear Swim Challenge

By taking up the challenge, you will be supporting a worthy cause

The Drakensberg Polar Bear Swim Challenge will be taking place on Saturday, June 24 at noon at the Dragon Peaks Dam.

The proceeds will be going to the Estcourt Animal Shelter but a donation will be made to the Khetani Animal Rescue and half of the dog food collected will also go to Khetani Animal Rescue.

Entry fee is R50 per person, which entitles swimmers to a cup of vegetable soup, a certificate and a chance to win some of the wonderful lucky draw prizes. Challenge your friends. By taking up the challenge, you will be supporting a worthy cause. It is not a race. Swimmers set off at 15 second intervals.

Spectators are encouraged to bring along packets of dog food.
