Good start for Dundee league golfers

.This weekend's fixtures; Friday: 10 Hole Meat Competition and Saturday: July Monthly Mug Medal competition.

Saturday’s 4 BBBS club competition at Dundee Country Club attracted a mediocre field of almost thirty golfers.
Club Captain Marc Bradbury and his partner Leon Wellman scored a very good 47 points to win the competition.

C Hayward and G Hayward finished second with 44 points after counting out S Sithole and C Mkhwanazi who also finished with 44 points.
Three players managed to card a 2 Club on the day and they were, Cyril Mkhwanazi at the 4th, Reynier van Rensburg (Jnr) on the 8th and Rob Streak on the 12th hole.
On Sunday the men’s Frog team got their league campaign off to a good start when beating Kilbarchan 4-0 with the pairing of Pierre Booysen and Heinrich Meyer winning their match 4/3 and KP Smith and Phil Vlok wining 2/0.
This Wednesday evening sees the final round of our social darts league being played and after last week’s result where The Pink Panthers beat the Scania team 2-0, now both these teams have lost just the single game and they must surely be favourites to contest the final.

Family and friends are urged to come and support the players as there will also be specials available from the bar and the kitchen.This weekend’s fixtures; Friday: 10 Hole Meat Competition and Saturday: July Monthly Mug Medal competition.
