On October 11, Estcourt Golf Club hosted a betterball competition sponsored by Kamie and Viren in celebration for Mayur’s upcoming wedding. Winners on the day were Garth Fairfiled and Philip Boshoff on 58 points, followed by Bruce and Delia Le Roux on 56 and then the man of the moment Mayur and his golfing partner Sam on 56.

Thank you to all the family and friends of Mukie and Mayur that supported us from Ladysmith.

On Friday, Garth Fairfield shot an even round 36 to win the compo and then we had a betterball competition on Saturday, which was won by Jackson Fick and Barry Janse van Rensburg on 58 points, second place went to Lionel Laatz and Gordon Smith on 56 and third went to Harry and Ismail on 56.

A reminder to all golfers, this coming Saturday we will be hosting the Estcourt Hospice Day, loads of prizes to be won, snacks provided and there will be an auction of a carvery set, hand made by Leroy Gericke, a chipping competition to win a set of golf irons and many more. Please support this event as Estcourt Hospice does great work in this town of ours.
